Circus classes for professionals and hobbyists in Hull.
Cabaret Club, Aerial Theatre, and Secret Sideshows support both professional and personal growth by refining your performance skills to help you find your unique stage presence. Develop the tools to creative original acts and maybe even share it at one of our vibrant Scratch Nights.
We provide a welcoming, supportive space to begin your circus journey. Our classes are open to all levels and focus on technique, creativity, and confidence building. Whether you’re here to perform, play, or just try something new, you’ll find community, encouragement and space to grow.
We pay homage to Hull circus roots from Hengler’s Grand Cirque on Anlaby Road in 1864 to the performers and human curiosities touring with Hull Fair to the acrobats and tightrope walkers featured at the gala’s at Spring Bank’s Zoological Gardens in 1840.
The Late Night Circus is a safe space for creativity and expression. Circus is for everyone no matter your skills set, we all start somewhere.
The Late Night Circus offers a place for professional development, peer support and a fun place for hobbyists.
Now then!
I’m Danielle the founder of The Late Night Circus and Aba Daba Circus. I have been performing cool stuff for over 12 years. I started performing fire and stilts in clubs then moved onto street theatre which can mean anything from a 1 woman show to being the back end of a Chinese Lion. That’s show biz baby!
I have been pole dancing for 15 years performing and compèring at many pole events and winning a few competitions along the way, no biggie. Along my performing journey I’ve done stand up, been a magician, ate fire and met Duncan from Blue!
It's been a wild one so far! I hope to share my passion for being ridiculous and unapologetically weird with you all and be with you on your own journey, whatever that may be!
Scratch Nights are a supportive, low-pressure space for developing new acts and early-stage ideas.
Designed to nurture creativity, these informal evenings give performers the chance to test work in front of a live, encouraging audience. Whether you’re experimenting with something raw, polishing a new direction or just want to dip your toe in the world of performing, it’s a place to take risks, share your process and grow alongside peers.
Priority is given to TLNC students, with invitations extended to friends and collaborators.
